STORAGE AND TASTING OF OUR PRODUCTS

 

To make it as tasty as possible, we recommend that you store it at room temperature (up to 20°), away from light after removing it from its gift box. If it is too hot, you can put your Baulois cake in the refrigerator. However, we recommend that you take it out about 3 hours before tasting it so that it regains its melting texture and all the power of its aromas.

Fondant Baulois®, Gâteau Nantais®, Ze Cake® belong to the Gâteaux de Voyage® family. These cakes, as the name suggests, have the particularity of being able to be kept for 3 weeks at room temperature. On each cake, you will find the DLUO (Best Before Date). We advise you to respect this date. For your professional and family events, it is therefore entirely possible to order your Fondants Baulois® in advance.

We recommend that you cut your Fondant Baulois® into thin slices to appreciate its full flavor. It can be eaten alone for dessert or as a snack. And if you have any left, you won't be able to resist it for breakfast. Ideal with a good coffee, it goes very well with strawberries or an orange salad. Enjoying it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a "homemade" custard is a sure bet.

OUR INGREDIENTS

For the Fondant Baulois Bio® version, labeled Ecocert, all the ingredients come from organic farming. The organic-labeled chocolate pistoles used come from a blend of several varieties of cocoa (organic and fair trade). This new cocoa gives it a slightly more chocolatey taste than the original version.

For the Fondant Baulois Sans Gluten® version, we replaced the wheat flour with a subtle mix of corn and rice flours in order to remain as faithful as possible to the original recipe for the famous classic La Baule cake.

All the cakes made by the Fondant Baulois® workshop are made from carefully selected ingredients. Free-range eggs, wheat flour and salted butter are selected with the greatest care. Cocoa is a blend of different cocoa beans. These cocoa beans are notably fair trade for the Fondant Baulois Bio®.

DELIVERY TIMES

For home orders in Metropolitan France, two services are offered. CHRONOPOST which guarantees a service within 24 hours DPD which guarantees a service within 48 hours For orders abroad, delivery times may vary depending on the country of destination. Please note that shipments are only made from Monday to Friday before NOON, excluding public holidays. For any order placed after NOON, we cannot guarantee same-day shipping. Any order placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday (excluding public holidays). Deliveries are made from Tuesday to Saturday (excluding public holidays) for Chronopost orders. YOUR SPECIAL ORDERS

Simply check the "gift" box when ordering and write the message you wish to send. This will be handwritten on a pretty postcard from the Pin'Ups du Fondant Baulois® collection.

All our Baulois cakes are sent in pretty cardboard boxes, very high quality striped blue and white echoing the bathing cabins of La Baule. We do not offer gift wrap in addition. On the other hand, you have the possibility to leave an accompanying note. You can also add birthday candles and other bauloiseries to your basket as a gift.

MANAGING YOUR CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

No, it is not mandatory to create an account to order. You can make an Express Order. However, creating an account offers you several advantages: order more quickly during your next orders (you quickly become "addicted" to Fondant Baulois®), manage your different delivery addresses in orders/gifts, manage your invoices and track your deliveries.

Yes, just go to My Account and click on “Reset Password”. Enter your email address and you will receive an email asking you to create a new password.

All information provided remains confidential. It is stored in the LGC database operating under the name Le Fondant Baulois® and cannot be used by any entity other than LGC.
